Rep. Todd Young (R-IN9) released the following statement after the Purdue University Board of Trustees unanimously voted to hire Gov. Mitch Daniels as their next president:

“Congratulations to Gov. Daniels and Purdue University. While our district, which contains Bloomington, is normally considered the ‘IU District’, we also have a significant Purdue presence at the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana in New Albany.
